Why You Need a Developer Account
without subscription, without limits, without surprises — lifetime.
The RemoteXY mobile app connects to all your devices without any restrictions. Your clients do not need to purchase a license inside the app. They simply install the free RemoteXY app from Google Play or the App Store and connect to your device (for example, via a QR code or according to your instructions).
How It Works
When generating GUI code in the online editor, encrypted data for your developer account is automatically added to the RemoteXY_CONF array in the source code. This data cannot be tampered with.
When the RemoteXY app connects to the device and reads the configuration, it recognizes that the interface was created under your developer account and opens it without any restrictions.
Any version of the RemoteXY app from the official stores will be able to work with your interfaces without restrictions.
What You Pay For
You pay separately for:
- Developer Account;
- App Users (clients connecting to your devices).
You don't pay per device. You pay only for active app users. The number of app users will be proportional to the number of devices your customers use.

When the Developer Account is Activated
The developer account is activated from the moment we receive your first payment and is valid for one year. When renewing, the account is extended for one year from the end date of the previous paid period. If you do not pay before the end date, your account will become inactive. You can pay at any time to reactivate it, starting from the payment date.
How to Access the Developer Account
The developer account is linked to your RemoteXY website profile. After the first payment, a new section called Developer Account will appear in your personal dashboard. This section will always remain available.
In the developer account, you can view its status, expiration date, and see statistics of your active users and other account information.
How Active Users Are Counted
An app user is considered your user if they connect to any of your devices. They are counted as active for 15 days. If they do not connect to your device within that period, they are no longer counted as active.
We cannot count the number of your devices since they may not have a unique identifier and are indistinguishable to the app. Therefore, you pay for users, not for the number of devices.
Since multiple users can connect to one device, or one user can connect to several of your devices within 15 days, the number of active users does not equal the number of devices.
You can see your number of active users in the developer account dashboard.
What Happens If I Stop Paying
Your devices will continue working with RemoteXY even if you stop paying. Your clients will not be affected.
You can resume payments anytime if needed.

I Develop Software for a Client
The developer account must be paid for by your client in their personal dashboard. They will add your account as a secondary one, allowing you to create interfaces for them. You don’t need your own developer account because you won’t be able to manage their user quotas. Ask your client if they already have a RemoteXY developer account.
